Shipping

Version 1.0, effective November 4, 2026

Plain text for agents: /docs/policies/shipping.md

The seller ships every marketplace order from the warehouse the product page names. CommerceBook holds the payment until the seller ships.

The shipping price

Every product page and every quote state the shipping price to the shopper's ZIP code before the order is placed. The price the agent quoted is the price the shopper pays, and no fee is added at checkout. The product feed carries the same shipping price for each product.

The seller ships within 2 business days

A seller ships within 2 business days of the order. Orders placed by 2:00 PM Central on a business day count from that day; later orders count from the next business day. Sellers ship Monday to Saturday. A seller with an earlier cutoff states it on the product page.

How long delivery takes

Ground delivery inside the United States takes 2 to 8 business days from the ship date. The carrier and the distance from the ship-from warehouse set the day. CommerceBook ships to United States addresses only.

Tracking

When the seller ships, the seller records the carrier and the tracking number on the order. The shopper's order page shows them. The delivery scan starts the 30 days a shopper has to file a dispute.

Pickup orders

A seller that offers pickup states it on the product page. A pickup order has no shipping price, and the clock for a dispute starts at pickup.
