A carved stone dish shaped like a cloud, with deep navy blue pooling through soft cream and a peach and rust rim that gives this material its sunset name. The face is polished smooth and the edge lifts just enough to keep rings, earrings and small everyday things from rolling away.
Sunset sodalite is a trade name. What you are holding is sodalite grown together with pale feldspar, and the warm peach comes from the iron stained rock around it rather than from the blue mineral itself.
Measures roughly 7 inches by 5 inches and weighs 0.875 pounds. This is a one of a kind piece, so the dish in the photos is the exact dish that ships to you.
Sodalite has long been loved as a stone of clear thinking and honest words. People keep it close when they want their head and their heart telling the same story, and it is a favorite of anyone who talks for a living. Put it on the nightstand for your rings, by the door for your keys, or on the desk where you want a calm and tidy mind. Blue and cream and a little sunset warmth, doing something useful every single day.
Because natural minerals are delicate and can be damaged by the stress of shipping, we are unable to accept returns. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will make it right.
