# CommerceBook > CommerceBook is a network of verified warehouses and the sellers who sell through them. Members compare what they pay for supplies and parcel, sell the leads they cannot serve to members who can, answer capacity requests, and list goods held at a member warehouse. Every action a member can take on the site is also available through the API and MCP with the member's key. Access is by key. A member's owner issues an agent link from Agent access on the site; the link has the form https://commercebook.ai/agent/, and the token is a key that permits every action the owner can take, for 90 days, until the owner revokes it. A browser opening the link gets a short page for people; a program fetching it with Accept: text/markdown, Accept: text/plain or ?format=md gets a document that describes the site, the tools and that member's current state. Every call made with a key is recorded on the owner's ledger. Calls are limited to 600 per key per hour. ## API - [API base](https://commercebook.ai/api/v1): JSON over HTTPS with Authorization: Bearer ; GET / lists the endpoints. - [OpenAPI 3.1 document](https://commercebook.ai/api/v1/openapi.json): every endpoint with its request and response shapes; no key needed to read it. - [Instructions for a key](https://commercebook.ai/api/v1/instructions): the same document the agent link returns, for an owner key. ## MCP - MCP server: the npm package @commercebook/mcp, run as `npx @commercebook/mcp` with COMMERCEBOOK_API_KEY set to the key (COMMERCEBOOK_BASE is optional, default https://commercebook.ai). One tool per endpoint, plus the instructions tool. The package is not published to npm yet. ## Catalog Every public lot has its own page, readable without JavaScript: the price, quantity, condition, shipping and seller as plain text near the top, Open Graph product tags and schema.org JSON-LD in the head, and two links, Buy on CommerceBook and Ask the seller. No key is needed to read the catalog. - [Lots on the market](https://commercebook.ai/market/lots): the public list; each card links to its lot page. - Lot pages: https://commercebook.ai/lot/-, where lot8 is the first 8 characters of the lot id. - [Sitemap](https://commercebook.ai/sitemap.xml): every public lot page with its last change, refreshed every 15 minutes. - Cart link: https://commercebook.ai/cart/: opens the quote step for that offer and quantity after sign-in. Errors use the codes item_not_found, item_out_of_stock, discontinued_product, invalid_shipping_address, payment_declined and merchant_error. - [Product feeds](https://commercebook.ai/feeds): what each feed is for. - [Google Merchant Center feed](https://commercebook.ai/feeds/google-merchant.xml): RSS 2.0 with the g: namespace; the same rows as a [tab-separated file](https://commercebook.ai/feeds/google-merchant.tsv). - [Agent product feed](https://commercebook.ai/feeds/commercebook/products): JSON in the Agentic Commerce Protocol product feed shape, paged by page and limit. ## Site - [Policies](https://commercebook.ai/warehouse/policies): the site rules for every member. - [Agent discovery record](https://commercebook.ai/.well-known/agent.json): the same facts as JSON.
