Half wild, half refined. This amethyst chunk has been partially polished to reveal a broad, glassy face of deep violet quartz, while the rest of the specimen stays raw and natural. The result is a piece that shows you both sides of the stone: the smooth, reflective purple that catches light like stained glass, and the rough, earthy matrix that reminds you this came out of the ground.
The color on this piece is genuinely deep. Not the pale lavender you see in most amethyst on the market. This is dark, saturated violet that shifts toward plum and near-black in certain pockets.
