This flame looks like it was cut from a thunderstorm. Deep violet bands sweep across the top half in jagged chevrons, the color so saturated it reads almost black where the layers stack, and then the stone opens into a wide pool of clear sea green at the base, glassy enough to see into. The faces are cut in flat facets rather than one smooth curve, so every turn catches the light on a different plane and the bands seem to shift as you move around it.
It stands on a flat base at five inches tall, with a clean point, and it is the kind of piece that wants a window. Fluorite is translucent, and with daylight behind it the green half glows and the purple bands go from ink to grape.
Fluorite is read as the stone of the clear mind, the one people keep on a desk when they need to focus, learn, or untangle a decision. Green fluorite is tied to the heart and to fresh starts, purple fluorite to intuition and quiet, and a banded piece that carries both is taken as a balance of thinking and feeling, the head and the heart in one stone. The flame shape is read as focus rising to a point, so a fluorite flame is often kept where the thinking gets done, on a desk or a study shelf.
The product photographs show the exact piece you will receive.
