There's something about holding a moonstone sphere that makes everything feel a little softer. This one has the warm, golden glow of a peach moonstone, with layers of crystalline shimmer running through the entire stone that catch the light from every angle.
Peach moonstone gets its color from trace amounts of aluminum and iron within the feldspar crystal structure. The shimmer you see, that soft inner glow, is called adularescence. It happens when light scatters between microscopic layers of albite and orthoclase feldspar that formed as the stone cooled millions of years ago. It's the same phenomenon that makes moonlight look the way it does on water. Only here, it's trapped inside a stone you can hold in your hand.
The coloring on this particular sphere is warm and earthy. Soft peach and cream tones blend with deeper golden-brown areas, and you can see the internal crystalline structure through the polish. Every angle gives you a different view.
Moonstone is connected to the crown and third eye chakras and is considered a stone of intuition, new beginnings, and inner growth. It's long been associated with the energy of the moon and the natural cycles that shape everything. The peach variety is also linked to the sacral chakra, bringing warmth and gentle creative energy.
