Description

A tall polished tower that changes completely from top to bottom, milky white at the point and deep green moss agate at the base.

The top two thirds are soft cloudy white, lit up from inside when you hold it to a window. Below that the stone drops into a band of black and white agate stripes, tight and even, and then into the base, which is packed with green moss inclusions, feathery and dense, with pale agate eyes scattered through it.

It is cut with six flat faces and a clean point, so it stands square and the banding lines up all the way around.

It needs no stand. The base is cut flat and it stands on its own.

This one earns a spot where people will see it from across a room. The height carries it on a shelf or a mantel, and the green base gives it something to sit on visually so it does not float the way an all white tower can.

About 6 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide. It weighs 1 pound 2.8 ounces.

Moss agate is the gardener's stone. The green is not plant matter, it is mineral that grew in branching patterns that look like moss, and people have carried it for a very long time as a stone of slow steady growth, new starts, and things that take a season to come in.
