Moss Agate Sphere, 3.25 Inch Polished Crystal Ball — Deep Forest Green Moss with Pools of White and Cream, Clear Acrylic Stand Included

Description

A polished moss agate sphere about 3.25 inches across and 1 lb 11 oz in the hand, deep forest green with pools of white and cream running through it and a few rust colored patches where the two meet. The green is not a flat color. It is made of thousands of tiny branching inclusions, the moss in moss agate, packed dense in some places and thinning out to feathery drifts in others, so the sphere reads like a map of woods and clearings. This is not a perfect sphere, and that is the point of her. The surface carries plenty of dings, natural cracks and little formations, small pits and hollows where the stone did not fill all the way in, seams where a crack healed over with chalcedony, and rougher patches that show how the agate grew. The polish is smooth where the stone is solid and the pattern goes all the way round with no plain side, but run your thumb over her and you will feel the story.

She belongs where the light can move across her, a windowsill, the corner of a desk, a shelf at eye level, and she is the sphere you pick up and turn while you think. She comes with the clear acrylic ring stand in the photos, so she sits wherever you put her.

Moss agate is the gardener's stone, read in crystal lore as the stone of new beginnings and slow, steady growth. It is associated with the heart chakra, with patience, with abundance that comes from tending things rather than chasing them, and it has a long history of being kept near plants and in kitchens and studios where things get made. A sphere sends its energy out evenly in every direction, which is why spheres go in the middle of a room or a shelf rather than in a corner. Together they make this one a good piece for anyone starting something, a new home, a new job, a garden, or a habit they mean to keep. She is calm to look at and she rewards looking.

The product photographs show the exact piece you will receive.

Weight: 1 lb 11 oz

Form: polished sphere on a clear acrylic ring stand, stand included

Please note: this is a natural stone, not a flawless one. The dings, cracks, pits and rough spots are exactly as they formed and they show in the photos and video. If you want a mirror smooth sphere this is not the one; if you want character, she has it. The light box photos read a little cooler than the sphere does in daylight.
