Honey Calcite Sphere with Stand, Large 3.4 Inch Golden Crystal Ball, 2 lb Glowing Amber Calcite Orb

Description

Set her near a window and watch what happens. Sunlight does not bounce off this sphere so much as soak into it, and the whole stone lights up from inside like a lantern filled with honey.

This is a polished honey calcite sphere, about 3.4 inches across and weighing 2 lb 2.5 oz, a genuinely substantial piece that fills the palm with cool weight. The color runs from soft cream into warm amber gold, and inside her the crystal planes catch the light as silvery veils and little flashes, so the glow is never flat. A clear acrylic ring stand is included, and she sits perfectly steady on it.

Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras

Worth knowing, honey calcite gets mistaken for citrine all the time, and sellers do not always correct the confusion. This is calcite, and that is not a downgrade. Calcite is the softer, glowier of the two, with a body full of internal planes that turn light into something liquid, and no citrine does the lantern trick quite like this.

Honey calcite is one of the great encouragers of the mineral world. Where the fiery stones push, this one warms. People who work with it reach for it when a long project has gone stale, when confidence has thinned out, or when the tank is simply empty, because its whole reputation is gentle replenishment, sunlight for the will rather than a spark to the fuse. It is tied to the sacral and solar plexus, the centers of creative appetite and follow through, and crystal workers keep it in studios and workrooms for exactly that reason. There is an old association between calcite and learning as well, the slow patient kind of study that compounds, which makes this a lovely stone for a desk that sees real work.

Spheres have their own logic. With no point and no edge, the stone radiates evenly in every direction, which is why a sphere gets placed at the center of a room, a shared table, or a gathering space rather than tucked in a corner. This one is heavy enough to anchor a shelf on her own and glowy enough to be the thing everyone picks up.

She is a natural stone, and her interior is her biography. The silvery veils are cleavage planes within the crystal, the small white wisps are mineral inclusions, and there are faint surface lines where those planes meet the polish. None of it is damage. That inner landscape is what makes a calcite sphere worth staring into, and no two are remotely alike. Calcite is also a soft mineral, so handle her kindly, lift her rather than slide her, and keep her away from hard knocks.

Because natural minerals are delicate and can be damaged by the stress of shipping, we are unable to accept returns. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will make it right.
