This tower is mostly snow white, and then the honey comes through in waves. The bands run across it in soft ripples, cream to apricot to a deep honey gold at the center, like layers of sunset stacked inside a white stone. The top is polished to a clean point and the white up there is speckled with tiny golden flecks, so it reads as one piece even where the bands fade out.

At seven and a half inches it has real presence on a shelf, and at just over a pound it is light enough to move around the house. Calcite has a soft glow to it, and this one picks up light along the edges so the honey bands look lit from inside on a bright day.
