A pale sea green fluorite crystal sits right at the center of this little specimen, glassy and translucent, with soft ghosting inside where earlier growth stopped and started again. It rests in a crust of small white quartz crystals that sparkle when the light moves, and the back of the piece shows the dark blue gray rock it grew on, so you can see the whole story from matrix to crystal. It is about 1.5 by 1.25 inches and weighs 2.8 ounces, a true palm piece.
Fluorite from Zhejiang is known for exactly this look, cool green cubes that catch window light and glow from the inside.
