A tall polished crazy lace agate tower in soft cream, tan and dove gray. On the broad front face the lace banding swirls into little fortification patterns and cloud shapes, and small open pockets of quartz druzy catch the light across it. Turn it and the back runs in long ribbon stripes of caramel, gray and white, so the two sides of the tower look like two different stones. The tip carries a small burst of peach and honey banding that shows best when you look down on it.
At about 8 inches tall and slim at the base, it stands on its own with no stand needed. Put it where the light moves across it during the day, a windowsill, the end of a bookshelf or beside a desk lamp, and the druzy pockets sparkle as you walk past. It reads calm and neutral from across the room, so it sits easily with wood, linen and white walls, and it is tall enough to hold its own beside a plant.
One back corner of the base keeps a small natural notch where the rough edge of the agate was left in place, and a few of the druzy pockets open into the polished surface. Both are part of how this stone formed. The tower stands flat and steady.
