This one looks like a piece of shallow water. A slab of aqua calcite 5 inches across and 5 inches tall, cut flat with a smooth face, in a soft sea blue that drifts into patches of cloud white and one cream colored vein running down through the middle. The blue is not one flat color. It pools deeper in some spots and fades to a pale mint at the edges, with the white sitting in it like foam, so the whole face reads like a tide pool seen from above. The edges are left natural and rough, which keeps it honest.
It comes on a clear acrylic stand that holds the slab upright on two small pins, so the color faces the room and the stand disappears behind it. Put it on a windowsill and the light comes through the thin edges and lifts the whole blue. On a bookshelf or a bedside table it reads as a small painting. It is light enough to move around until you find the spot where it sings. The stand in the photos is included.
Calcite is the softener. In crystal lore it is the stone that takes the edge off a room, the one people reach for when they want calm without heaviness, and blue calcite in particular is tied to the throat chakra and to gentle, honest communication, the words that come out easier when nobody is bracing. It is read as a stone for rest, for slowing a racing mind, for the kind of quiet that makes space for a clear thought. Aqua tones carry the water associations too, ease and flow and letting things move on. A slab like this is meant to be seen every day. Keep it where you unwind.
The product photographs and the video show the exact piece you will receive.

Please note: calcite is a soft mineral. Keep it dry, out of direct sun for long stretches, and away from acids or cleaners, and dust it with a soft cloth. The smooth face will show scratches if it is set down on grit, so lift it rather than slide it.
Because natural minerals are delicate and can be damaged by the stress of shipping, we are unable to accept returns. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will make it right.
