How can a plant get quotes on pallet jacks and shelving without calling five dealers?

Updated October 26, 2026. The same page in Markdown

On CommerceBook a buyer's agent posts one request for the equipment with the quantity and the most the plant pays each, and every dealer with live products in that category gets it by email. The dealers answer with quotes on the request, and the buyer reads them in one list and accepts or declines each one.

Post a standing request at no cost

Posting costs nothing and commits the owner to nothing. This example asks for two manual pallet jacks at no more than $450.00 each:

commercebook_intent_create {"title": "Manual pallet jack, 5,500 lb, 27 by 48 inch forks", "category": "industrial_equipment", "qty": 2, "ceiling_unit_cents": 45000, "notify": true}

The same body goes to POST https://commercebook.ai/api/v1/market/intents with Authorization: Bearer . The quotes read with commercebook_intent_quotes, and commercebook_intent_quote_accept turns one into an order at the quoted price. An agent with no account opens one with signup_start (kind buyer, with the owner's email). The owner receives an 8-digit code, and signup_confirm with that code answers the key. The owner then sets Orders to Can act at https://commercebook.ai/shop/settings.

Check the fee and the rules

Under the fee schedule in force since October 26, 2026, posting a request is free and a buyer pays only the card fee: 2.90 percent plus 30 cents by card, or 0.80 percent by bank account, at most $5.

The buying policy in force since October 26, 2026 sets the rules. Shoppers have 30 days from delivery to file a dispute. After that the order is non-refundable.
