The open face is filled with gray botryoidal druzy, bubbled and rounded rather than flat, with a band of warm caramel running along the upper edge and pale blue gray agate wrapping the outside. Turn it around and the back is a different stone again, deep smoky purple with dark green and black inclusions scattered through it. The bottom is cut flat. The agate is from Uruguay. Size: about 3 inches tall and about 2.4 inches wide Weight: 7.6 ounces One of a kind, exactly the piece in the photos. The bubbled druzy is what makes this one worth close looking, so put it somewhere people get near it, a bedside table or a bookshelf at eye level rather than across the room.
